This Spring, Reem Anbar and Gazelleband have traveled the world for an expansive series of concerts in solidarity with all of those struggling for libertion and justice in Palestine. With Reem's young family remaining in Gaza city, this tour has been shaped by real urgency to contribute financially - as well as musically, culturally and politically - to beating the genocidal war.
In this context, the work of Gazelleband has formed an essential and leading contribution towards asserting and promoting Palestinian traditional culture. Appearing at vibrant and insurgent universities and stages in Britain, Ireland, Italy, Canada and the US has brought some unforgettable experiences, fuelling the passion of Reem and the band to keep performing and resisting.
